Our Mission Statement

St. Stephen Lutheran Church, where you are loved and worthy, exists in a broken and beautiful world to love God and one another through action and to uphold the cause of God’s justice and peace.

We are and want to be a place that lives out a Lutheran expression of the Christian faith, with emphasis on God’s unearned, free gift of grace which makes each of us worthy, regardless of what we have done right or wrong.

We are and want to be a place that welcomes people wherever they find themselves in life a and world that is often so complicated, broken, and beautiful.

We are and want to be a place that puts our faith in action, responding to God’s free grace, by making that gift known in the world through serving others and working for justice and peace.
