Susan M.
Susan grew up in Naperville, IL. She moved to Midlothian in 2012 and began attending St. Stephen's that year. She works as a corporate attorney, volunteers in the food pantry at St. Stephen's and teaches medieval sword fighting in the Society for Creative Anachronism. At home, she has a committed boyfriend, stepson, cat and piles of books on medieval history.
Josh W.
Josh has been a member of St. Stephen's almost his whole life. He's been active in children's ministry (both as a real kid and then as an adult leader) and as a member of the bell choir. He has served on the Church Council and on Pastor Nathan's Call Committee. Josh works for the Belt Rail Line. He and his girlfriend Brittany are the proud parents of Darien. Everyone in the family is a big Cubs fan!
Thao N.
Thao grew up in Viet Nam where she was raised as a Roman Catholic. She is an aquaculture engineer and helps farmers convert from raising soybeans and corn to fish and shrimp. When Thao settled in the south suburbs, she first attended a Catholic church but things just didn't click for her. She had never gone to a Lutheran church but decided to give St. Stephen's a try. It wasn't long before she became a member. Thao serves on the Church Council and is project lead of the Aquaculture Project.
